S. 1259: A bill to require serial numbers on handgun and "assault weapon" ammunition.
Principles Involved: Mandated schemes to require "bullet serial numbers" do not work, and are simply attempts to kill reloading and make ammunition too expensive for the average citizen.
GrassRoots Position: GrassRoots strongly opposes this bill.
Current Status: In Senate Judiciary committee.
