H. 4329: A bill to create a tax-free weekend on firearms purchases on the Friday & Saturday after Thanksgiving each year, and designate this weekend as "Second Amendment Weekend."
Principles Involved: Taxing firearms raises their price. Any rise in prices causes firearms to be no longer affordable for some families. Our gun rights should not be infringed by pricing them out of reach.
GrassRoots Position: GrassRoots supports this bill.
Current Status: In House Ways & Means committee.
